Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I decided I wanted to be a pediatrician at a very young age. I thought it was something I could do for other people to make their lives better. After completing my education and training, I worked in a pediatric emergency department for about 1.5 years, then came back to general pediatric practice. I like being with children and forming a continuing relationship with the children and their parents, and watching them grow
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love to quilt and knit. I also do a lot of reading.
