Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
Working to ensure women have a positive birth experience was my primary motivation for becoming a midwife. However, I also have a love for and dedication to providing quality care for all aspects of women’s health. I value working as part of a supportive team that provides safe, quality and encouraging care, providing women the opportunity to have a partner in their healthcare, creating a most positive experience.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I want work together with you in developing your individual plan of care. Your questions and concerns are important to me and I will take the time to address them.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two sons. I am an avid hiker and backpacker. I am working on section hiking the Appalachian Trail. When I am unable to get to a trail, I enjoy walking on the Warwick-Ephrata rail trail path. I have many other hobbies such as: crocheting, jewelry making, drawing, painting, sewing, fossil and gem hunting, and nature photography. I also enjoy dancing and attending live music performances, ranging from local musicians at coffee shops and open mics to large festivals. I also have an interest in health policy at the state and federal levels.
