Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I have always loved working with children and adolescents. They require a lot of caring and understanding. I love to be there for people, especially when they can't advocate for themselves.
What I want my patients to know about me:
Most days I sing in the car because I have the best job in the world! I am so lucky that I get to help kids every day. My goal is to listen and understand, and then provide evidence-based guidance. I see my medical knowledge about pediatric health as an empowering tool to be shared with families.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love classic literature and my "to read" pile is never empty. I have an arts background and love to work on creative projects. We also love to cook, run, hike, travel, scuba dive and spoil our two cats.
