Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I have a strong drive to help others. Although I originally started college thinking I was going to become a Veterinarian, I feel like my natural tendency to help other people is well suited to the profession of social work and mental health therapy. It is a “good day” when I feel like I have helped someone see something differently and breathe a bit easier.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am the Director of the Outpatient Clinic as well as a therapist here. I often have very limited time due to various roles and meetings that I attend. I take a very limited amount of therapy clients at this point. I am a seasoned therapist with a direct communication style. I specialize in treatment of clients with eating disorders, trauma, and hoarding disorders. I see all ages of clients including individuals, families, and couples.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I love spending time with my family and many pets. We enjoy anything outdoors, camping, traveling, concerts, sporting events, eating out, and working in the yard.
