Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I have always been better in the math/science area of school so I was drawn to medicine. Healthcare generally involves excitement, problem solving and variation. Although challenging at times, it is an emotionally rewarding career that allows me to make a difference in my patient's lives during a time when they need me the most.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am a cancer survivor! Oncology is my passion and I believe I am meant to be on the path I am on. I am able to provide strong support and empathy having been through treatment myself.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not working I love baking cookies or sweets, heading to the beach for a trip, or spending time with friends or family. I also love sports, specifically football and basketball.
