Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

A career in medicine has been an interest of mine since I was young. I stated my medical career as a nursing assistant and have worked my way up and graduated with my RN degree in 2006, and then with my masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I have an extensive background in nursing and medicine. I have years of experience in emergency medicine before venturing into the outpatient setting of urgent care. I am a big advocate for health prevention and education. I am always open to learning more about homeopathic remedies for illness. Continued learning is key in medicine.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not at work providing care for patients, I am spending time with my husband and two children. Our son is very active in sports all year round, and our daughter is active with karate. We are active members of our church. We enjoy traveling locally, and exotic travel is something we look forward to doing more of!
