Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
There is nothing more exciting than to see how your patients recover from a surgery. The ability to fix a problem with my hands brings me profound satisfaction. I am thrilled with a fact that I can contribute to the health of my patients with my hands providing immediate and tangible relief.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I came from New York, and I enjoyed it until my twin-daughters were born. Then I realized that I want to raise them in a different environment. I love this area, and I have a lot of friends in Washington, D.C. suburbs. I have noticed that a lot of patients travel out of the area to get surgical care. I am very enthusiastic about changing that. We are fully equipped with the latest technology, being able to perform many sophisticated procedures and staying up-to-date with the most recent literature.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy traveling, as I think that’s the most prudent investment of our time and money. It makes you an incredibly more well-rounded human being giving you exposure to different cultures, teaching you that the way you have been looking at the world is not the way everybody does. It improves your vision and your grip on reality.
