Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I wanted to make a difference in people's lives, especially with their health which impacts everything! I wanted to become a physician since I was eight years old, when I visited my grandparents in India and saw how closely poverty and disease run together.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I was raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania for most of my life. I went to undergraduate and medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia. I moved to York for residency these past 3 years and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to stay and serve the community. I've traveled to Guatemala for medical missions and worked with the Indian Health service in New Mexico, which have made me more passionate about helping the underserved whenever possible.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
In my spare time, I like to read, garden, and go to art galleries.
