Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
When I was growing up, I played soccer and did gymnastics competitively. I came across many amazing healthcare professionals after several injuries, and they were all very helpful with getting me back to doing what I wanted to do. I knew from a young age that I also wanted to help people, and a career in medicine gives me that opportunity.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy spending time with my son who loves playing sports including ice hockey, soccer, and baseball. I help coach my son's soccer team, and I also enjoy continuing to play soccer. I also love to travel, be outdoors and spend time with my family and friends.
