Changryol "Chong" Choi, MS, ATC, LAT, CSCS
Chong is an athletic trainer with WellSpan Rehabilitation in York County. He is currently the head athletic trainer at York Revolution in York, Pa. Chong, who is a native of South Korea, moved to USA and received his BS in Athletic Training from Illinois State University (ISU), IL in 2005.
After completing his degree, Chong decided to continue his education at ISU completed his MS in Injury Biomechanics, with a specialization in Athletic Training, in 2007.
Chong began his athletic training career in 2007 working at Blackburn College as Head Athletic Trainer providing 10 athletic teams. In 2009, after two years, Chong moved to Arkansas and became the Head Football and Baseball Athletic Trainer at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR.
While there (2009 - 13), Chong was responsible for providing additional medical coverage for all 10 varsity sports as well as serving as an adjunct instructor in the Kinesiology department. In 2013, Chong is involved with WellSpan’s injury prevention and WellFit program where he works with patients from many different age groups and activity levels at Sports Center Rehab, Hanover.
A certified member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA). Also Chong is a strength and conditioning specialist of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
