The Good Samaritan Health system joined WellSpan Health in July 2015 to provide the people of Lebanon valley region access to expanded healthcare programs and services. With more than 125 years of service, WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital remains an important community resource, providing our neighbors with advanced levels of cancer care, heart and vascular medicine, maternity services and wound care that rival programs found in major metropolitan areas like Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
As we have identified additional healthcare needs of Lebanon County residents, we have developed strategies to fill these gaps. Recent examples include the introduction of new orthopedics and cardiology practices, as well as our new WellSpan Sechler Family Cancer Center, which opened in January 2016. We continue to seek ways to bring additional primary and specialty care to the region through community partnerships and leveraging the resources of the WellSpan system as a whole.
We’re proud to be part of the region’s largest, most comprehensive health system. And, together, we’re working to make your health care even stronger.
So take a look around, and let’s get WellAcquainted.
Partnering to Build a Better Lebanon County
Every day across Lebanon County, the people of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital work together to support our non-profit mission of service—one patient, one town, one unique health care need at a time. To that end, we know that building healthy communities doesn’t stop at providing excellent clinical care at one of our facilities. We recognize that a deeper commitment is required to transform communities through partnerships and grassroots participation in the issues that matter most to our neighbors.
