About My Visit

What should I expect on my first visit?

During this visit, the therapist will complete the initial evaluation. The therapist may also go over exercises and/or use a modality such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation or heat or ice. They will also discuss the plan for what therapy can do for you over the next few weeks and your individual goals for therapy.

What do I need to bring with me to my appointments?

You need to bring your insurance information and one form of identification.  Please also feel free to bring shorts or a tank top so the therapist may have more direct access to certain body parts which they may need work on.  This is not mandatory as we do have hospital gowns that can be worn.

How often will I need to attend?

This is dependent on what you and your therapist decide. Usually, patients attend therapy in the clinic 2-3 times per week.

What should I wear to my appointments?

Comfortable clothes. You can bring gym clothes to change into if you would come from work, as changing facilities and areas are available.

How long will my appointment last?

The initial evaluation is scheduled for one hour and most reoccurring appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes. If your therapist decides you need a longer time period, he or she will discuss this with you.

As you progress through the scheduling process, you will be able to schedule an appointment with any provider or practice that already counts you as a patient. Online scheduling varies by practice/program.
