York County Libraries is hosting an interactive virtual discussion led by WellSpan’s Mike Diller, PsyD, and director of WellSpan Health’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 on grief and loss issues raised in Transforming Health's Summer Read book selection – Option B: Facing Adversity, Building Resilience, and Finding Joy, by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and OptionB.Org founder and Wharton psychologist Adam Grant.

The best-seller explores how to help others in crisis, develop compassion for ourselves, raise strong children, and create resilient families, communities, and workplaces.
This year’s Summer Read selection is an extension of “Here With You,” a special Transforming Health campaign underway to promote physical and mental resiliency during these challenging times and beyond. Transforming Health on WITF, in partnership with Capital BlueCross and WellSpan Health, is an ongoing effort to educate people of Central Pennsylvania about the importance of maintaining health and wellness through individual and collective action.
