WellSpan Health announces today the opening of WellSpan Fertility Care at the Apple Hill Medical Center, as part of a collaborative relationship with Johns Hopkins Fertility Center.
The new fertility care practice will be located at the WellSpan Women’s Center, 35 Monument Rd., Suite 204, in York.
“The opening of this new practice enables us to provide first rate, quality fertility care right here in our community,” said Megan Lecas, senior vice president for service lines, WellSpan Health. “Through our collaborative relationship with the Johns Hopkins Fertility Center, patients will be able to receive coordinated and convenient care, from the first time they walk through the door until the completion of their treatment plan.”
WellSpan Fertility Care will provide first level assessment, testing and care to patients, including quick access for ultrasound and bloodwork, preconception planning and minimally invasive reproductive surgery.
Additional levels of care can be coordinated through the collaborative efforts with the Johns Hopkins Fertility Center at Green Spring Station in Lutherville, Md.
“Making sure our patients receive the best treatment throughout their plan of care is extremely important to us and working with the Johns Hopkins Fertility Center will help us achieve that,” said Jess Tocks, D.O., lead physician at WellSpan Fertility Care. “Access to quality health care is so important, and we’re excited to be able to provide our patients testing and first level care here in York County.”
WellSpan Fertility Care is now accepting new patients. The practice will be open on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will be available for daily virtual appointments and visits for ultrasound monitoring when you are undergoing your fertility treatment.
