Hike to Health to be held in Mt. Gretna

Wednesday, May 30, 2018

Hikes, outdoor yoga, bouldering and a “bird Olympics” will be part of the Hike to Health from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 16, at the Clarence Schock Memorial Park at Governor Dick, 3283 Pinch Road, Mt. Gretna.

Sponsored by WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, the free event will help to kick off summer. The schedule features hikes at 9 a.m.; bird Olympics and yoga at 10 a.m.; and bouldering at 11 a.m. Healthy snacks will be available.

At the Hike to Health, families also can register for the third annual Get Outdoors (GO) Lebanon! summer reading and walking program, sponsored by WellSpan and Lebanon County Libraries. The theme this year is “GO and Make Music!” Participants can obtain a registration form, complete one of the program’s walks and earn an extra grand prize entry at the event.
