Ramona Kinard: 58, York, pastor of the Wheatfield Church of the Living God

Why I chose to get the vaccine: “I got the vaccine so I can be safe around my parents, my children and my grandchildren, and so I can travel safely.”

What I am looking forward to: “I look forward to seeing people’s faces and being together. I look forward to my congregation coming back and fellowshipping with one another and just having a good time, just seeing everybody’s faces again. I look forward to traveling and going to the beach – any beach!”

What I would say to someone who has not yet gotten vaccinated: “I would tell them I understand. I was the same way, feeling I wanted to see how everyone else is going to do with it but prayed on it and I got a comfort to get the shot. For anyone is hesitant I would encourage them to get the vaccine because it not only helps to protect yourself but also all those around you.”
