Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I chose to pursue a career in healthcare because I love helping people. Growing up, my cousin had cancer and at a young age I was exposed to healthcare. I always appreciated how the nursing and physician staff made my cousin feel better even at his worst, which ultimately inspired me to pursue a career as a healthcare provider.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I care greatly about my patients and want to provide the best care possible to them or their loved ones. Shared decision making is an important part of my practice and I want my patients and their loved ones to feel comfortable asking questions and giving feedback regarding their plan of care.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
In my free time, I enjoy gardening, cooking and baking. My husband's family also has a farm, so I often can be found there helping out where I can.
