Dr. McGann leads the strategic and operating activities of WellSpan’s service lines and the WellSpan Medical Group, one of the largest primary care and multi-specialty physician groups in the United States. Additionally, he is the executive sponsor of Project One, WellSpan’s comprehensive migration to an electronic health record core vendor which will allow WellSpan to achieve the level of care and process standardization that our patients will require under population health. Dr. McGann also continues the critical work of leading and developing the WellSpan Provider Network.
Dr. McGann is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine and the York Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. He completed a four-year commitment to the National Health Service Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service in Renovo, PA, and later practiced at Dallastown Family Medicine for 16 years. Prior to becoming a WellSpan senior vice president and president of the WellSpan Medical Group in 2004, Tom also served as chair of the WellSpan Medical Group Board and as executive director of the WellSpan Provider Network.
This search will provide you with WellSpan Medical Group and Northern Lancaster County (Ephrata) Medical Group primary care physicians and specialists. If we don’t have a WellSpan Medical Group physician to meet your criteria, the search will expand to include community physicians who partner with WellSpan Medical Group physicians through the WellSpan Provider Network or provide care to patients on the Medical Staffs of WellSpan’s Hospitals.×

As you progress through the scheduling process, you will be able to see the offices that are accepting new patients in relation to your zip code. If you are not enrolled in MyWellSpan, go to www.mywellspan.org, call 1-866-638-1842 or speak with a member of the staff at a participating facility to sign up. If you already have a relationship with a WellSpan practice, simply log into your account, and go to the Appointment Center section. As you progress through the scheduling process, you will be able to schedule an appointment with any provider or practice that already counts you as a patient.
