Join us for the 15th Annual WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital Benefit Tennis Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Gettysburg College followed by an evening reception at the Lutheran Seminary Refectory. All tournament proceeds are used to benefit the annual Adams County Young Women's/Young Men's Leadership Conference, an educational event for every seventh grade girl and boy who attends public or private school in Adams County.
The annual conference is coordinated by a true community collaboration through The W.E.L.L. Consortium. The consortium's mission is to provide every seventh grader in Adams County with an opportunity to benefit from the most current information specifically and carefully designed to develop their personal and group leadership skills.
The Annual Young Men's & Women's Leadership Conferences features strong inspirational, factual and important "take home" messages concerning, but not limited to, anti-bullying, internet safety and positive mental and physical health under the umbrella of Wellness, Empowerment, Leadership and Learning.
The consortium’s partner organizations include The Gettysburg College, WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, Gettysburg Chapter AAUW, Adams County School Counselors, and Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA, dedicated to providing a powerful conference intended to have positive and lasting impact on our youth, their families and school communities.
