COVID-19 Vaccine

Schedule Your Vaccine on MyWellSpan

In September 2023: The Food and Drug Administration and U.S. Centers for Disease Control approved use of updated COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna for added protection against the illness this fall and winter.

The vaccine is recommended for anyone 6 months of age and older who has not received a COVID-19 vaccination in the last two months.

Appointments can be scheduled at WellSpan Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatric Medicine practices, as well as WellSpan retail pharmacy locations. You do not need to be a current WellSpan patient to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination, but you will need to create a MyWellSpan account.

Due to shipping delays for the COVID-19 vaccine from Moderna, appointment availability may be limited. If you are unable to schedule an appointment for the Moderna vaccine, please continue to check back or consider a different brand of vaccine.

COVID-19 Symptoms & Treatment

If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your primary care provider. If you do not have a primary care provider and believe you need medical treatment for COVID-19, we recommend that you consider a WellSpan Virtual On-Demand Care appointment. Your provider can provide guidance on your next steps.

Many people with COVID-19 are able to recover at home if symptoms are not severe.

People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • trouble breathing
  • persistent pain or pressure in the chest
