The WellSpan Surgery & Rehabilitation Hospital is holding an art show to raise awareness about brain injuries from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, in the lobby and the community room of the hospital, 55 Monument Road, York.
Organizers are seeking:
- Personal artwork/crafts created by those who have experienced a brain injury
- Creative work such as yoga or music related to brain injury
- Educational artwork related to brain injury
- Educational exhibits about brain injury awareness or safety
- Children’s artwork materials for a Kids Corner
Artists can drop off their work at the hospital’s front desk between March 10 and 17. They will receive a label for their pieces.

Her card notes that the different flowers represent different parts of her brain injury experience: her brain, her aneurysm, her stroke and the love she felt as she recovered.
