Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
I chose a career in medicine because I wanted to have a positive effect on the community around me. There are many ways to achieve this, but I felt that medicine would be the most direct way for me. And, of course, tenth grade biology awakened me to the wonders of living organisms. I'm still in awe today.
What I want my patients to know about me:
In this age of big data and large healthcare systems, it's important to me that I continue to give my patients the personalized care and service they deserve. As an expert in your healthcare, the relationship and trust that we develop together is the core of your healthcare experience. By being part of WellSpan, I can help leverage the assets of this large organization to your advantage to get the best outcome possible. I am still in awe of what the human body is capable of and the privilege that I have been given to help heal people in need.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
Thinking about them (my patients) mostly, but I also enjoy time with my family, reading, walking and training my retriever.
