Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I learned about the physician assistant profession when I was in college, and I knew this was the right career path for me as I could work independently and collaboratively with physicians in any field of medicine. I always have been interested in the sciences, double majoring in biology and exercise science in college, and have had a passion for helping others— so medicine was the right fit for me. My love for medicine may have started at an early age, when I helped my brother's doctor remove staples from the back of his head and thought it was so interesting!
What I want my patients to know about me:
As a PA-C, I have had the opportunity for a broad experience including general medicine and plastic surgery. In this role, I am passionate about working collaboratively with physicians and strive to learn from their expertise daily. If I have any questions or concerns regarding your care, I do not hesitate to consult with the physicians in my practice to give you the best care possible. I do my best each and every day to treat my patient's with respect, compassion, and provide evidence-based medical care.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I have a young family, so right now I don't have much free time! My family is my top priority, and I love being a mom. I try to find time to exercise, travel, garden, go shopping with my mom, crochet, and play with my first fur-baby, a maltepoo named Cinderella. My brother and his family live out west as do our extended family, so we try to visit them as often as possible.
