Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

When I was very young, my uncle was in a motorcycle accident which left him paralyzed. I remember when my family would visit him, I was more interested in helping my uncle than playing outside with the other kids. It was at an early age that I realized that I wanted to be a nurse since I found helping others to be so rewarding.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I want my patients to know that I genuinely care about their health and well being. I am very thorough and spend time listening to my patients, answering questions and ensuring that they are well informed regarding their care. Overall, I try my best to treat every patient as I would want my loved ones cared for.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

My family is everything to me and I spend as much time as possible with my husband and two children. Most of our time is spent trying to keep up with their after school activities and sports schedules. We vacation in the mountains every year where we enjoy swimming, fishing, hiking, canoeing and just relaxing.
