Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

To connect with and help people. Plus, I'm fascinated by the human body!

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am a perfectionist with a bubbly personality. I've been a nurse since 1998. Before I became a nurse practitioner, all of my RN experience was in the hospital setting, mostly ER. I served six years on active duty in the USAF with one deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I love gardening and reading. I'm somewhat of a homebody. I have three children, who are involved in lots of activities.
