Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I have always been interested in science and medicine, and during college I was fascinated with the study of physiology and the complexity of the human body. I found this reinforced during my training in medical school. I enjoyed helping people, working with patients, and merging that with my love of science and problem-solving. I chose internal medicine because I enjoy managing more complex medical problems and working with an older patient population.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I spent six years in the Air Force for my residency training and as a staff physician. I am proud to have had the opportunity to serve my country in this capacity.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
Spending time with my family, running, reading, listening to music, scrapbooking
