Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine:
My interest in medicine stems from a strong family tradition of caring. My great grandfather was a physician who did his rounds with a horse and buggy. My uncle and cousins are physicians as well. My mother worked in the microbiology lab at the hospital all of my life and piqued my interest in science and helping patients. I have always had an interest in caring for others, and becoming a physician seemed the best way for me to meet that goal.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I am a caring and collaborative physician who enjoys helping my patients achieve their goals. I will carefully listen to your concerns and help you through the maze that is medicine today.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
In my spare time I enjoy walking, biking, gardening, embroidery, seeing my grandchildren, and visiting with friends.
