Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I choose this career path, modeled by my father, to immerse myself in the challenging scientific and humanistic elements of a profession devoted to the well-being of others.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I challenge myself each and every day to be truthful and humble in all of the ways that I lead my life. This attitude has, I believe, a significant impact on my ability to care for my patients and for myself.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I constantly seek out connections with my family and friends. I enjoy many active exploits in the outdoors, including running, cycling, swimming, hiking, fly fishing, and kayaking. I also enjoy the solitude of the wilderness and a good book.
