Vending Machines
Vending machines are accessible 24 hours a day for snacks and beverages, are located in the emergency department and the second floor.
The Gift Shop at Waynesboro Hospital has unique gifts for all ages. Gift Shop merchandise includes greeting cards; items for babies and children; fresh flowers; “Get Well” balloons and plush items; scarves and jewelry; handbags; metal wine caddies; Willow Tree figurines; generation frames; Fair Trade items; and seasonal merchandise.
The Gift Shop is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The Gift Shop offers affordable arrangements and bud vases. Both may include a balloon or small plush animal with same day delivery. To place an order for flowers or a gift, please call (717) 765-4000 ext. 5293 or ask for The Gift Shop.
Cell phones and wireless device use is permitted only in the lobbies and waiting room areas.
Free wireless connection and access to the internet via your smart phones, tablets and laptops.
Courtesy phones are located throughout the hospital and may be used for local and long distance calls in the continental United States. Calls should be limited to three minutes.
Chaplain services are available, and a meditation room on the first floor is open at all times.
Lost and found items are left with the switch board operator in the main lobby.
Newspapers are available outside the main entrance.

CMS 5 Star Overall Hospital Quality Rating
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) have ranked WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital as 5 Stars for Overall Hospital Quality. The overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings apply across the country based on each hospitals performance across five quality categories including: mortality, safety or care, readmission, patient experience and timely and effective care.

Leapfrog 'A' Grade Designation
The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization driving a movement for giant leaps forward in the quality and safety of American health care. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade assigns letter grades to hospitals based on their record of patient safety, helping consumers protect themselves and their families from errors, injuries, accidents, and infections. In the fall of 2022 WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital earned the highest designation of an 'A' grade. In 2020, WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital was recognized by Leapfrog as a Top Teaching Small Hospital.

High Performing by U.S. News and World Report
WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital has met or exceeded the criteria to be designated a high performing provider for 2023-2024 by U.S. News and World Report in the treatment of pneumonia. The annual Best Hospitals ranking evaluated more than 4,500 medical centers nationwide in 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. Rankings are largely based on objective measures like volume, discharge-to-home rates, and quality of nursing.

For 2023, WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital has achieved the following from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association’s Get with the Guidelines (GWTG) awards:
- Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award and recognized on the Target: Stroke Honor Roll and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll
- Rural Stroke Bronze Achievement Award
The GWTG awards recognize the hospital meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke and heart-care-related patients.
