The effects of a lung condition can be debilitating. Pulmonary Rehabilitation has been a lifesaving pathway between inactivity and activity; isolation and socialization; depression and hope; and from being an observer of life to an active participant. WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital offers a Pulmonary Rehabilitation program to help you live a fuller life.
WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital offers a comprehensive outpatient exercise and educational Pulmonary Rehab program to individuals with breathing difficulties. The main goal of each staff member is to help our clients gain strength and stamina while at the same time learn breathing techniques and lifestyle changes to make activities easier.
The Pulmonary Rehab Center is staffed by Registered Respiratory Therapists who will be there to answer your questions and offer support each step of the way.
Air Supply, a hospital sponsored support group, meets on a regular basis to provide much needed education, support and socialization for participants and family members dealing with the day-to-day challenges of living with a chronic lung condition.
A Program for Life
A maintenance program is offered for a continuation of exercise and encouragement of healthy lifestyle choices. It is available to anyone who has completed a pulmonary rehab program.
