The Emergency Department at WellSpan York Hospital is open 24-hours-a-day to care for ill or injured residents in our area. Dedicated nurses, physicians and other staff members provide acute care for a wide variety of conditions. The physicians and staff of the Emergency Department work with our Advanced Life Support units and other ambulance units to coordinate prehospital and hospital-based care. Computerized patient tracking and medical records systems allow our Emergency Departments to provide cutting-edge care.
Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) and Developing Options for Violent Emergencies (DOVE) patient care and education teams are also based at WellSpan York Hospital. Comprehensive Crisis Intervention and psychiatry services are also available 24-hours-a-day. This commitment to patient-centered care and to the education of tomorrow's health care providers allows us to continually improve and focus our patient care efforts.
WellSpan York Hospital's Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center is a referral center for injured patients from across south central Pennsylvania.
This search will provide you with WellSpan Medical Group and Northern Lancaster County (Ephrata) Medical Group primary care physicians and specialists. If we don’t have a WellSpan Medical Group physician to meet your criteria, the search will expand to include community physicians who partner with WellSpan Medical Group physicians through the WellSpan Provider Network or provide care to patients on the Medical Staffs of WellSpan’s Hospitals.×
