When you are recovering from surgery or need hospital inpatient care, WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital offers personalized nursing services in a friendly setting.
In addition to our friendly nursing staff, nurse ambassadors are available to help patients and their families. Our nurse ambassadors direct patients to their room, visit with patients and their families and welcome and inform them about their medical/surgical hospitalization. The ambassadors act as a liaison between the medical/surgical staff and the patients and their families.
Our Medical/Surgical floor includes private and semi-private rooms. Visiting hours are open. If you would like to contact a patient, please call (717) 733-0311 for assistance.
In addition to our Medical/Surgical Unit, WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital offers specialized care in our Acute Rehabilitation, Surgical Telemetry, and Intermediate Care Units.
The Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides intensive rehabilitative services to patients who are recovering from surgery, strokes, or injury. Patients in the unit typically participate in a minimum of three hours of therapy each day.
The Surgical Telemetry Unit allows WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital to cluster patients with similar diagnoses in one area. The Intermediate Care Unit provides a bridge between Critical Care and the Medical/Surgical unit.
Visiting hours may vary in these specialized units. For more information about visitation hours or to contact a patient directly, please call (717) 733-0311 for assistance.
