Welcome to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital Laboratory Services. Our laboratory services are here to provide you and your doctor with convenient, high quality comprehensive laboratory collection and testing.
All of our testing facilities are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The laboratories are also surveyed by the Joint Commission.
Results of testing are sent directly to your doctor and are kept on file in our Laboratory Information system. If you are admitted to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital your doctor will have access to all of your past studies.
We have tried to make collection of your outpatient testing as convenient as possible by having multiple sites for collection.
All of our facilities have fast friendly service that is backed by the quality of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. Please consider us whenever you need laboratory testing.
Do I need an appointment for lab tests?
No appointments are necessary for laboratory tests.
Should I take medication before coming in for my lab test?
Unless your physician instructs you otherwise, you should take all medications as usual.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
You need to bring a signed physician's order along with your insurance cards, photo identification and any referral forms.
What do I do when I arrive?
Upon arrival, please sign in at the front desk. Please have your insurance card, identification, physician's orders and any other paperwork ready. Our friendly staff will call your name in turn to help you.
This search will provide you with WellSpan Medical Group and Northern Lancaster County (Ephrata) Medical Group primary care physicians and specialists. If we don’t have a WellSpan Medical Group physician to meet your criteria, the search will expand to include community physicians who partner with WellSpan Medical Group physicians through the WellSpan Provider Network or provide care to patients on the Medical Staffs of WellSpan’s Hospitals.×
Use your MyWellSpan patient portal any time to view available appointments, and pick the date and time that best suits your schedule.
If you don't have a WellSpan primary care provider and would like to schedule a new patient appointment with a provider who is accepting patients, just log into your MyWellSpan account, and go to the Appointment Center section. As you progress through the scheduling process, you will be able to see the offices that are accepting new patients in relation to your zip code. If you are not enrolled in MyWellSpan, go to https://my.wellspan.org, call 1-866-638-1842 or speak with a member of the staff at a participating facility to sign up. New patient scheduling not available at all practices/programs.
If you already have a relationship with a WellSpan practice, simply log into your account, and go to the Appointment Center section. As you progress through the scheduling process, you will be able to schedule an appointment with any provider or practice that already counts you as a patient. Online scheduling varies by practice/program.×
