myGSH Patient Portal FAQs

How do I sign up?

You must sign up for the patient portal in person. At your next visit simply provide your email address to the registration representative. You will receive an email with your activation information, typically within 48 hours of your visit. Follow the directions from the email to finish registration.

Once you have registered you may access the portal by visiting www.gshleb.org/patientportal. We recommend that you bookmark that page or add it to your favorites for easy future access.

What is the myGSH Patient Portal?

The myGSH Patient Portal is an electronic file containing portions of your medical record from WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital and many of its outpatient centers and services. This information is available via on-line access. The documentation is available to view, download and/or transmit. In addition, the information is yours to personally update and store.

Registration must be completed in person at any WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital registration site. Health information will be available via the portal beginning with the date of your registration. Results from visits prior to that date will not be available via the portal.

What types of information are included in the myGSH Patient Portal?

  • Lab results
  • Radiology (x-rays)
  • Immunizations
  • Medications
  • Procedures
  • Discharge information
  • Allergies

When will I see my results on the portal?

Once registered, discharge information from an inpatient or observation visit will be available immediately upon discharge. Lab and Radiology reports will be available within 36 hours of being read and/or resulted.

Who can register for an account at myGSH Patient Portal?

Currently, anyone 18 years of age and older is permitted to create a patient account. To obtain access to your child's online physician office records, please contact the physician office where they are seen. To obtain access to your child’s medical records from WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, please contact the Health Information Management Services (HIMS/Medical Records) department at 717-270-7584, option 0.

Who has access to my account at myGSH Patient Portal?

As the owner of your account, you control who has access. You are responsible for the security, confidentiality and integrity of your username and password.

Is my information secure?

The myGSH Patient Portal has security safeguards in place to protect your health information. To make sure that your private health information is safe from unauthorized access, patient portals are hosted on a secure connection and accessed via an encrypted, password-protected logon. Although patient portals use safeguards, there are other safety tips you should follow when accessing the patient portal. Always remember to protect your username and password from others and make sure to only log on to the patient portal from a personal or secure computer.

Who do I contact if I have questions about the information I see on myGSH Patient Portal?

If the information you are questioning is medically related, please contact your physician.

If you would like to discuss amending your GSH medical record, contact the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital HIMS department at 717-270-7584, ext 0.

Technical questions about using the portal should be directed to RelayHealth at 1-866-735-2963.

About the provider search

This search will provide you with WellSpan Medical Group and Northern Lancaster County (Ephrata) Medical Group primary care physicians and specialists. If we don’t have a WellSpan Medical Group physician to meet your criteria, the search will expand to include community physicians who partner with WellSpan Medical Group physicians through the WellSpan Provider Network or provide care to patients on the Medical Staffs of WellSpan’s Hospitals.

New to this practice?

If you don't have a WellSpan primary care provider and would like to schedule a new patient appointment with a provider who is accepting patients, just log into your MyWellSpan account, and go to the Appointment Center section. As you progress through the scheduling process, you will be able to see the offices that are accepting new patients in relation to your zip code. If you are not enrolled in MyWellSpan, go to https://my.wellspan.org, call 1-866-638-1842 or speak with a member of the staff at a participating facility to sign up. New patient scheduling not available at all practices/programs.

Already a patient at this practice?

If you already have a relationship with a WellSpan practice, simply log into your account, and go to the Appointment Center section. As you progress through the scheduling process, you will be able to schedule an appointment with any provider or practice that already counts you as a patient. Online scheduling varies by practice/program.
