WellSpan Sports Medicine presents Marques Colston's Wide Receiver Skills Camp
Join New Orleans Saints Wide Receiver Marques Colston to learn what it takes to rank amongst the top wide receivers at any level of play. The camp, offered by WellSpan Sports Medicine, is open to players 10 to 18 years of age. Basic drills will focus on stance and start, catching, cone drills and agility.

Clinic Overview: Athletes will be broken into groups of 12 to 13. Stations will run simultaneously, with the groups rotating every 15 minutes. This format will allow for individualized attention for each athlete. Stations: Station 1: Agility ladder (Karaoke, In-and-Out, etc.) Station 2: Cone drills (L-Drill, M-Drill, etc.) Station 3: Catching drills (75 yard, over the shoulder, sideline) Station 4: Stance and start (5-yard burst from stance, press releases, etc.) Session 1: Session 1 is designed for athletes 14 to 18 years old. Athletes will receive wide receiver skills training as well as an injury risk assessment provided by WellSpan Sports Medicine staff. Half the group will complete the injury risk assessment prior to the camp and half will receive the assessment after completion of the camp.

About Marques Colston Marques Colston is an NFL wide receiver entering his eighth year of professional football. He currently plays for the New Orleans Saints. Colston graduated from Susquehanna Township in 2006. After graduating from Susquehanna Township, he attended Hofstra University on a full athletic scholarship.
Playing at Hofstra, Marques was a four year starter and left as the school's all-time leader in receiving yards (2,834), and second in all-time receptions (182). In 2006, Marques was a seventh round draft pick for the New Orleans Saints.
In his career, Colston has been a steady cog in an offense that has ranked in the top five every year since he was drafted in 2006. Colston has eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark in all but one season of his career. He was also the team’s leading receiver in 2009, when the Saints won the franchises' first and only Super bowl to date. Entering his eigth season as a pro, Colston has already set numerous Saints all-time receiving records and is on the cusp of owning every receiving record in team history.
