Entrance Eligibility

Students must meet an additional degree requirement established by the America Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).  Those graduating in January 2015 and beyond will not be eligible to sit for the national registry exam administered by the ARRT without an associate’s degree or higher. The degree does not need to be health care related; however, WellSpan’s Radiography Program has listed several prerequisite requirements for program entrance. In addition, the program will only accept regionally accredited college degrees and credits, such as Middle State Association of Colleges and Schools, New England Association of Colleges and Schools, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The radiography student must meet the following requirements to graduate from the program:

  • The participant will need to have an associate, baccalaureate or graduate degree from an institution accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT to be eligible to sit for the registry exam.
