Our doctoral internship program offers rotations in inpatient, day hospital, and outpatient settings. Our clients represent a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults and older adults from urban, suburban and rural areas who comprise many ethnic groups and all socioeconomic classes.
A unique feature of our program is the opportunity for you to explore ways to integrate religion and spirituality into clinical practice with the faith-based populations we serve, including those from the local Plain communities (Amish, Mennonite, etc.).
You’ll gain experience in individual therapy, group psychotherapy, couples/family therapy, psychological assessment, consultation and other professional roles and activities. Opportunities are available for you to develop skills in areas of special interest. Additionally, educational seminars, professional readings and quality supervision are critical and valued components of the program.
