Community Benefit Report
Like other areas across the United States, south central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland have their share of challenges. Families live without orwith too little health insurance. Our youth are making choices that could impact their health and their future. And increased longevity and chronic illness create greater challenges for individuals and caregivers. Thankfully, while the list of health and life issues is long, longer still is the list of individuals and organizations that strive to make a difference.
As a community-based, non-profit organization, WellSpan Health is dedicated to improving the lives and well-being of the people and communities it serves. By partnering with individuals and other organizations, supporting their endeavors, lending our expertise and learning from one another, we can create a healthy community.
We are happy to report that caring is creating results. Whether it's a dentist who donates his time to those in need or a community organization that teaches crib safety, a therapeutic program for the elderly or youth-based health education, we are making a difference. This year, WellSpan would like to share, celebrate and acknowledge ourmany partners. Together, we will continue to do great things.
