Services

The WellSpan Adolescent Gynecology Program works closely with other specialists to provide care to adolescents with gynecologic concerns. Our providers provide adolescent gynecology consultations, diagnostic testing and non-surgical treatments for urinary dysfunction and chronic gynecological conditions. 

Services and treatments include:

• Initial visit in a comfortable and caring setting to minimize anxiety
• Comprehensive, gentle examinations if indicated
• Supportive education regarding adolescent issues  
• Routine Pap Smear and yearly gynecologic care
• Birth control counseling and prescription of contraceptives
• Prevention, counseling and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases
• Evaluation and treatment for 
  • irregular menstrual cycles 
  • heavy, frequent or painful menstrual periods
  • pelvic pain
  • monthly mood swings
  • monthly acne outbreaks
  • vaginal and pelvic infections
  • abnormal Pap Smear
  • breast abnormalities

Insurance and Fees

Adolescent gynecology has established a fee schedule that we will be willing to discuss with you at any time.

We participate in many health plans, including SOUTH CENTRAL Preferred, Pennsylvania Blue Shield and many others. Co-payments are due at the time of your office visit. Please call our office if you would like to find out if we participate in your plan.
