Our Services

When severe pain in joints or muscles last for more than a few weeks, consultation with a physician is recommended.  Since many types of rheumatic disease may not be easily identified in the early stages, it is important to work closely with your rheumatologist to identify the problem and design an individualized treatment program.  The physicians and staff of WellSpan Rheumatology will work closely with you and your family to provide comprehensive, quality care with a personal touch.

Appointments

Appointments can be scheduled by calling (717) 851-6236 in York or (717) 339-2790 in Gettysburg. 

Prescriptions

Requests for prescription refills should be made directly to our refill line at (717) 851-6236, option 2 in York, or (717) 339-2790, option 2 in Gettysburg.  We ask for 24 hour notice; however most prescription requests that are received by 2 p.m. will be filled that day. 

Health Questions

Please contact our office staff during our regular business hours for general health or non-urgent questions.

Emergencies

Our phone is answered 24 hours a day in case of an emergency.

Insurance and Fees

WellSpan Rheumatology has established a fee schedule that we will be willing to discuss with you at any time. You are responsible for paying all fees, including co-payments, at the time of your office visit.

We participate in many health plans, including SOUTH CENTRAL Preferred, HealthAmerica, Keystone, Highmark Blue Shield, and many others. Please call our office if you would like to find out if we participate in your plan.

We participate in Medicare; however, we will bill you for any balance remaining after Medicare payment.

Other insurance companies may allow you to have them send payment directly to our office. If so, we encourage you to use this option.
