Giving SocietiesSamuel Small Society The Samuel Small Society recognizes those who have created a legacy at the York Health Foundation by including WellSpan in their estate plans. The Society is named after Samuel Small who had a vision for a hospital in York. Without him, York Hospital may not exist. The 1880 Society The 1880 Society members make a powerful, immediate impact at WellSpan through their gifts of $10,000 or more. Society members The Society was named in honor of the year York Hospital was founded. The Anna Huber Legacy Society recognizes all planned gifts made to the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA). These gifts will provide home health and hospice care to patients for generations to come. Legacy Society members are invited to recognition events, the York Health Foundation's "Insider Tour" Series and receive special communications from the York Health Foundation. Honor/Memorial Gifts The York Health Foundation receives and acknowledges all honor/memorial gifts for York Hospital, the Visiting Nurses Association, the Cancer Patient Help Fund, etc. There are many seasons of life where donors make a gift in honor of or in memory of a loved one. The following list contains giving opportunity for honor/memorial gifts:
The donor will be acknowledged and the family of the honoree or deceased will be notified biweekly for the first month, then monthly. Please send the next of kin name and complete address to Barbara Sweitzer at bsweitzer@wellspan.org so that we may insure receipt of the donor list. |
