Appointments

Please call WellSpan HealthSource, the newly expanded Physician and Service Referral line at (800) 840-5905 to verify this office currently accepts new patients. Appointments are scheduled daily during regular business hours.

Prescriptions

Please call your pharmacy which last filled the prescription. Your pharmacist will notify your physician of the refill request and the physician will either refill the prescription or contact you to schedule an appointment. At least 24 hours is required to process refill requests. Please bring all of your medication bottles with you to your next appoint and your physician can evaluate your prescriptions for refills.

Please contact our office staff during our regular business hours for general health or non-urgent questions.

Emergencies

Our phone is answered 24-hours a day in case of an emergency.

Insurance and Fees

Wheatlyn Family Medicine has established a fee schedule that we will be willing to discuss with you at any time. You are responsible for paying all fees, including co-payments, at the time of your office visit.

We participate in many health plans, including SOUTH CENTRAL Preferred, HealthAmerica, Keystone, Highmark Blue Shield, and many others. Please call our office if you would like to find out if we participate in your plan.

We participate in Medicare, however we will bill you for any balance remaining after Medicare payment.

Other insurance companies may allow you to have them send payment directly to our office. If so, we encourage you to use this option, as it will save paperwork.
