Shadowing Experience Program

Gettysburg Hospital provides many opportunities for high school and college students to observe the inner workings of the hospital and its many services. Hospital personnel work with area high schools, Gettysburg College, Mount Saint Mary's College, and Harrisburg Area Community College to match students with a special area of interest to those designated departments or services. Nursing students from Penn State Mont Alto and Frederick Community College come to Gettysburg Hospital to complete their clinical requirements.
