John Holmes


Vice President, Finance, Population Health and Payor Contracting

Mr. Holmes became vice president of finance, population health and payor contracting in March 2013. In addition to payor contract oversight, he plays a key leadership role in the migration of WellSpan's reimbursement model from fee-for-service to becoming an accountable care organization.

Prior to joining WellSpan, Mr. Holmes served as Ephrata Community Hospital's chief financial officer for 11 years and vice president of fiscal planning for two. He also served as chief financial officer for HealthCentral, a former health management organization that served the central Pennsylvania region.

A certified public accountant, Mr. Holmes holds a master's degree in business administration from Indiana University and a bachelor's of art degree in accounting from Anderson University in Indiana.

This search will provide you with WellSpan Medical Group and Northern Lancaster County (Ephrata) Medical Group primary care physicians and specialists. If we don’t have a WellSpan Medical Group physician to meet your criteria, the search will expand to include community physicians who partner with WellSpan Medical Group physicians through the WellSpan Provider Network or provide care to patients on the Medical Staffs of WellSpan’s Hospitals.
