Fund Descriptions

Where Needed Most: Support ongoing needs at the hospital and within the community that benefit health and wellness initiatives.

Cancer Patient Help Fund: Help lessen the financial impact on individuals and families battling cancer by making money available for everyday expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries and transportation.

Prescription for Caring Fund: Assist individuals struggling to pay for the medications they need to help them get healthy and stay out of the hospital.

Patient Help Fund: Connects patients with resources such as transportation to and from WellSpan locations, medical equipment, co-pays and deductibles, home monitoring systems, or other needs related to facilitating discharge from Gettysburg Hospital.

Patient Experience Fund: Support hospital projects and initiatives that directly impact the patient-family centered experience.

If we don’t have a WellSpan Medical Group physician to meet your criteria, the search will expand to include community physicians who partner with WellSpan Medical Group physicians through the WellSpan Provider Network or provide care to patients on the Medical Staffs of WellSpan’s Hospitals.
