Children’s Wellness Days is a yearly event for York County third graders that teaches good health lifestyles using the theme of “Wellness is a Rainbow.” The York Hospital Auxiliary is responsible for the general planning and underwriting for this event. The event focuses on teaching more than 1,300 students how to make positive decisions for leading a healthy life.

The York Hospital Auxiliary was recognized as a finalist in the Children’s Health Advocate category of the Central Penn Parent’s Healthcare Heroes awards program held in March 2011.
In May 2013, Children’s Wellness Days celebrated its 32nd year.
