All parents want the best for their children. They want them to do their best in sports, in friendships and in the classroom. To help children with asthma live full lives without limitations, WellSpan Health is proud to offer Camp Green Zone. Designed to teach children ages 6 through 12 how to prevent and control their asthma in a relaxed setting, the camp includes lots of fun activities, along with daily classroom instructions.
Camp Green Zone is staffed by a team of health professionals with experience in the care of children with asthma. Michelle Weiss, M.D., Family Center for Allergy and Asthma, is the camp's medical director.
Parents will have a chance to meet the instructors and learn more about camp activities at a parent orientation meeting held two weeks before camp begins.
