Our Mission

Gettysburg Hospital Foundation is a community based, not-for-profit corporation which exists to inspire gifts and grants from individuals, foundations, corporations and other entities to support the health and well-being of people in Adams County, PA and communities in adjacent northern Maryland.

Opportunities to Give 

Gettysburg Hospital reaches out to our patients and the local community in many ways. We are dedicated to fulfilling our mission of improving the health and well-being of the people we serve. As a not-for-profit hospital, Gettysburg Hospital has a strong tradition of partnering with the people living within the communities it serves.

This partnership takes many forms. Some members of the community choose to volunteer their time and talents at our health care facilities. Others partner with us to address the many serious issues confronting health care.

Still others decide to support us in achieving our mission by providing gifts and resources that enable us to make a positive impact on the health of our community.

Whatever form your involvement takes, we are pleased that you have decided to participate with us in improving the health and quality of life in the communities we serve.

Gettysburg Hospital Foundation will...

• be the premier organization for ensuring the understanding and funding of health and wellness needs in our region
• make a positive impact on the health of our community through support of Gettysburg Hospital's mission and priorities
• maximize annual support to meet immediate needs and develop a strong endowment to allow flexibility for future capital and special project needs exceed the expectations of our donors and our community through diligent leadership and exemplary stewardship.
